The voxcutpro.com website and the VoxCut software are published by William GEORGE, a sole trader operating under the commercial name “VoxCut” (business registration: [to be completed] — address: [to be completed]), referred to below as “we” or “VoxCut”.

VoxCut processes your audio and video files directly on your computer. Your files are never sent to a server, the cloud, or any third party: they never leave your machine.

• No audio or video file is uploaded or stored online.
• No analytics, tracker, or telemetry is built into the application.
• The application works without an internet connection, except for license verification (see section 3).

The application stores a few technical files locally in the %APPDATA%\VoxCut folder on your computer (license key, daily export counter, language preference). These files stay on your machine and are never transmitted to us.

Pro version purchases and license management are handled by our payment provider Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. When you make a purchase, Lemon Squeezy collects the data required for the transaction:

• your name and email address;
• your country and billing information (required to calculate VAT);
• your payment details, processed directly by Lemon Squeezy and its banking partners. We never have access to your card number.

Your license key is emailed to you by Lemon Squeezy. When the application is connected to the internet, it may verify the validity of your license against Lemon Squeezy's servers (this check transmits your license key and the associated email). Offline, validation is performed locally, without contacting any server.

If you purchase VoxCut through the Microsoft Store, the transaction and associated data are handled by Microsoft, in accordance with its own privacy policy.

The website is a presentation showcase. It uses no analytics tool, no advertising cookie or tracker, and sets no tracking cookie.

If you choose to give us your email address through a sign-up form, it will be used only to inform you about VoxCut news and updates. It will never be sold or shared with third parties, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. and the domain name is managed by OVH. Like any host, Vercel may record standard connection data (such as the IP address) in its technical logs, for security and proper operation of the service.

The website does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or audience measurement. No cookie consent is therefore required to browse it.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data.

To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@voxcutpro.com. For data processed as part of a purchase, you may also contact Lemon Squeezy directly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL — www.cnil.fr).

We do not maintain a user database. Data related to a purchase (invoice, email) is retained by our provider Lemon Squeezy and by us for the period required by our legal and accounting obligations.

Some of our providers (Lemon Squeezy, Vercel) may be established outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Where applicable, such transfers are governed by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).

VoxCut is not intended for individuals under the age of 15, and we do not knowingly collect data about them.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the product or to applicable regulations. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
